The service was excellent and staff always happy to help out with suggestions and recommendation on all things local. An added bonus was the coffee machine provided in the room - not something provided by the other hotels we stayed in during our time in Italy. Our room at the Mario de’ Fiori 37 was very comfortable and decked out in a modern style. Original wooden-beamed ceilings, free Wi-Fi and a 32-inch LCD TV, rooms come with marble bathrooms combine with the most modern facilities. It mixes old-world charm with contemporary design in its minimalist guest rooms and suites. The best part was the vibe of the general area where the hotel is located - simply fantastic! As a small boutique hotel, the Mario de’ Fiori 37 doesn't have its own restaurant, bar (etc) but this is not an issue at all, as there's a plethora of dining options in the area. The modern Mario De' Fiori is set in a historic building from the 17th century. The Spanish steps are a stone’s throw away, the Trevi fountain, a short walk and shopping options galore surround. The hotel's biggest plus is its excellent location.
